Kite day at the Katz's on Big Creek Road at Black Ankle Creek Road. A beautiful day filled with sunshine, delightful people and excellent food. What more could a person ask from a wonderful spring day? I only wish we could have stayed longer.

- I am a college professor, (Emeritus) living in Gilmer county in the state of Georgia. This is the sixth year Linda, my wife and I have lived here full time. We both retired from the Clayton county area and both taught art for longer that 30 years. She taught art in High school and elementary school, in Oaktown, Indiana, New Orleans, Lousiana, LaGrange , Morrow and Gilmer County, Georgia. I taught at Clayton State University in Morrow, Georgia for 30 years and in the Columbia city school system in Columbia, Mississippi for three years before that.
